If you are looking for easy sweet bread machine recipes then this fruit bread recipe is a must try. I make this easy, vegan, and kid-friendly fruit bread in my bread machine.
Tutti Frutti or candied fruit when added to cakes, ice creams, cookies, bread or as dessert toppings it enhances the taste and gives a unique flavor. I love making tutti frutti ice cream at home in summer!
Ingredients
It is very easy to make this sweet bread in a bread machine. It just requires a few ingredients - water, oil, salt, sugar, bread flour, instant yeast and candied fruit or tutti frutti.
In this recipe, I have used water but it can be replaced by milk or half milk and half water.
Instructions
Place the ingredients (water, oil, salt, sugar, bread flour, instant yeast) in the order recommended by bread machine manufacturer and start the basic bread cycle. The Basic white bread cycle works for this recipe.
Step 1: Add all the ingredients to the bread machine pan.
Step 2: Add candied fruit to the bread machine pan.
Depending on your machine, you will have to add the tutti frutti in a separate slot for extra ingredients or add it once the machine beeps
Once basic bread cycle is complete, remove the bread from the container by inverting and shaking it. Allow it to cool down on a cooling rack before slicing it with a serrated knife or an electric knife.
Step 3: Once done, remove the bread on a cooling rack.
Step 4: Once bread cools down, slice it with a knife.
Substitutions
Yeast - Instant yeast or bread machine yeast can be used interchangeably.
Flour - I use all purpose flour or bread flour to make this recipe.
Liquid - Water or milk can be used.
Variations
Fruit bread can be made in the bread machine or the dough can be made in the bread machine and bread baked in the oven for 20 minutes at 350°F. Check out this post on how to make dough in bread machine.
