Kitchen tools save time, effort and energy in the overall cooking process. Some of the tools are absolute must-haves in any kitchen as they help tremendously to speed-up many of the mundane tasks like cutting, chopping, peeling, slicing and more.

Top 10 must have kitchen tools

This is my must-have kitchen items list based on personal usage. I hope this is useful to you and help make your cooking effortless.

    Pineapple Cutter

Fresh pineapple slices are a delight however the thought of cutting a pineapple is an opposite emotion. A pineapple cutter does the task of slicing a pineapple very elegantly. In a matter of minutes, you get fresh slices of pineapple and definitely reduces effort and mess considerably.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away and using an apple cutter keeps the seeds away! Within seconds you get equal-sized apple slices without any seeds. This is especially handy when I am pressed for time in the morning while packing snacks for my kids.

    Garlic Peeler

Garlic is commonly used in many cuisines and peeling the cloves is not only time-consuming but may also leave garlic residue under the nails. Garlic peeler does a great job of removing the skin in seconds. Just insert a handful of the cloves, roll the peeler for a few seconds and wallah..., you have all the garlic you need for your favorite recipes.

    Handheld Grater

When you do not have a ton of things to grate, a small shredder turns out handy for grating cheese and vegetables.

    Electric Knife

If you love making bread and cake at home, an electric knife is a must for slicing bread loaves and cakes.

    Hand Blender

A hand held blender is very useful for making soups, batters, salsa, smoothies, milkshakes, whipped cream and more.

    Basting brush

If you love baking, a basting brush is surely going to be your friend. It is a big help in greasing the pans and applying butter to baked treats.

    Digital Food Scale

To ensure your recipe turns out the same every time, weighing the ingredients is a key and this is absolutely a must if you love baking.

    Digital Food Thermometer

A food thermometer helps to measure the temperature of food and liquids while cooking. I use it very often while making yogurt to measure the temperature of the milk.

    Measuring Cups

Accurately measure your recipe ingredients with these measuring cups and spoons and avoid guess work when making your favorite meals.
