    There are many types of Indian bread in Indian cuisine. Most types of Indian bread are made with few basic ingredients including stone-ground whole wheat flour known as atta.

    Some of them use a combination of whole wheat flour with other flour like all-purpose flour (maida), semolina (sooji), and millet flour (bajra).

    An Indian meal is served as a platter known as Thali. A vegetarian thali normally includes vegetable curries, dal or yogurt soup (kadhi), beans, rice, one or more side dishes, Indian bread, and a dessert.
