Frozen naan bread is a big savior on the days when you cannot make them by yourself from scratch or if you just need a few. I love keeping a pack of frozen naan in my freezer for emergency use. They go well with Indian dishes and make pizzas.

You can find frozen naan in Indian grocery stores or In Trader Joe's. There is usually a variety like plain naan, garlic naan, and even stuffed naan. Sometimes, I make naan at home and then I make it in bulk and freeze them.

An air fryer is perfect for reheating frozen naan bread in just a few minutes. There is no need to preheat the oven to bake just a few pieces. It is quick, easy, and convenient to reheat frozen naan in an air fryer. Even kids can do it!

To reheat frozen naan in the air fryer, you only need frozen naan. They can be store-bought from Trader Joe's, an Indian grocery store, or made at home and frozen.

Once the frozen naan is reheated, you can apply some butter or garlic butter, and that is optional.

There is no need to defrost frozen naan and it can directly be reheated in the air fryer or in the oven if you are making a larger batch.

Can you heat frozen naan in air fryer?

Yes! An air fryer is great for reheating frozen naan especially when you want to heat only a few pieces. You don't have to wait to preheat the oven, which would take some time.

To reheat the frozen naan, first preheat the air fryer for about a minute to 400° F. I use the Instant Vortex Plus air fryer and after starting, it will preheat and prompt to add food.

Place 1-2 frozen naan bread in the air fryer basket. Heat it for about 3 minutes. After about 2 minutes open the air fryer basket and check the naan. Flip them with the help of kitchen tongs and continue air frying for the remaining time.

Remove the naan from the air fryer basket onto a serving plate and then apply some butter or garlic butter.

    Serving suggestions

Frozen naan, once reheated, can be served with Indian curries. Palak paneer, matar paneer, malai kofta, navratan korma, and dum aloo are a few of my family's favorites. It can also be served as a dip with hummus.

    Storage

The convenience of air frying frozen naan is that you can reheat only as many as you need quickly and you may not have any leftovers. However, if you do have any leftovers, you can store them in the fridge in an air-tight container and reheat them in the microwave before serving them.
