How to cook frozen samosas?
Frozen samosas can be cooked in different ways, either by deep-frying, baking in the oven, or in the air fryer. The first step is to thaw or defrost the large samosas in the microwave before cooking.
Defrosted frozen samosas can be baked in the preheated oven at 400 °F for 15 -20 minutes. They can also be deep-fried on the stovetop. So it can be a little tedious and longer if you are baking or unhealthy if you deep-fry.
But the air fryer has changed all that for the better. It is one of the easiest air fryer recipes to try if you are new to the air fryer.
Where to buy frozen samosa?
Frozen samosa and kachori are easily available in the freezer section in the Indian grocery stores, Trader Joe's, Costco, Whole Foods, Walmart, and other supermarkets.

I have used large frozen samosa and 4 pieces usually take about 2 minutes to thaw in the microwave. Place the thawed samosas in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket and cook them.

After about 5 minutes open the basket and carefully turn them if needed with the help of the kitchen tongs. Depending on the brand, some samosas may seem dry on the surface and some may ooze out oil.
If needed, apply some oil using a basting brush or spray some with an oil sprayer and continue air frying for additional few minutes.
Place the basket back in and heat for another 3-4 minutes till they turn golden brown. The time of cooking may vary depending on the count of samosa.
