Can you do frozen garlic bread in the air fryer?

Earlier before I had an air fryer I used to bake frozen garlic bread in the oven. It used to take a long time since first you need to preheat the oven and then bake it for 12-15 minutes.

But now with the air fryer, cooking the Texas toast is a breeze. It can be made in a matter of a few minutes and served as an accompaniment to your meals. You can also check more air fryer recipes on my blog.

No! There is no need to defrost the frozen garlic bread before cooking it in the air fryer. You can just cook it directly without thawing just a few minutes before you are ready to serve it.

How to cook frozen garlic bread in air fryer?

To cook frozen Texas toast in the air fryer, first, preheat the air fryer to 390 °F for about 5 minutes. You can also air fry at a lower temperature, however, 390 °F works great as the garlic bread gets cooked in just 5-6 minutes and you don't even need to flip it.

Once the air fryer is heated, place 3-4 pieces of frozen garlic bread slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer depending on the size of the basket.

Air fry the slices for about 6 minutes, the garlic butter will melt as they get toasted. They will be done once the crust is golden brown and the crumb is well-cooked and perfect to bite.

If you want to air fry more frozen garlic bread then you can continue in the same way in batches.

How long to toast frozen garlic bread in air fryer?

Frozen garlic bread slices are well cooked in just about 6 minutes at 390 °F. If you don't want to golden brown crust but a softer crust, then you can cook the slices at about 360 °F for 8-9 minutes.

What to eat with garlic bread?

Garlic bread slices can be served with soups like pasta soup, 15 bean soup, and tomato soup especially when you don't have time to make grilled cheese sandwiches.

It also complements mac and cheese well. I also serve it with pasta dishes like vegetable pasta casserole and baked broccoli pasta and get a lot of compliments from family and friends.

If you are planning to serve a crowd or make a recipe for a party, mixed vegetable casserole is a great crowd-pleaser dish to serve along with the side of garlic bread slices.
