    What is strawberry float?

Strawberry float or strawberry ice cream float is a refreshing treat for the summer. It is a cupid's float and perfect for enjoying with your loved one on Valentine's day.

It is made with strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries, and soda. If you are looking for different ideas for serving strawberry ice cream, this float recipe is a must-try!

This is a perfect beverage if you are looking for a quick and easy crowd-pleaser drink that can be enjoyed by both adults and kids alike. It takes less than 5 minutes to make this treat.

    Strawberry soda float ingredients

Strawberry float requires only 4 ingredients - strawberry ice cream, strawberries, club soda, and sugar or a sweetener like agave nectar.

I have used fresh homemade strawberry ice cream but store-bought one works well too. You can also substitute it with vanilla ice cream.

I also like to make my own soda using a soda maker. Other options are to use club soda or sprite.

Fresh or frozen strawberries are pureed and sweetened by adding sugar or a low-calorie sweetener like agave nectar.

How to make strawberry ice cream float?

To make the strawberry ice cream float, first puree the strawberries and sweeten them by adding a sweetener. Pour it into a tall glass and then add some soda and mix it well.

Scoop some strawberry ice cream and place it in the glass. Pour some more soda on the ice cream. You will see the bubbles and froth. The strawberry ice cream float is ready.

If you like you can also add some chopped or sliced strawberries for garnishing or in the drink. To enjoy the drink, mix it well so that the pureed strawberries, soda, and ice cream mix well and give a perfect taste.

As you sip the drink, you can add more soda as needed. I like to use stainless steel straws as they are eco-friendly.

It is best to make and serve this drink fresh. To save some time, you can make the strawberry puree and store it in the fridge for 1-2 days and use it when needed to make the float.
