    Ingredients

To reheat frozen mozzarella sticks in the air fryer, you only need frozen mozzarella cheese sticks. They are available in freezer aisles in Trader Joe's, Costco, Publix, Walmart, Kroger, or any grocery store. I have used the Farm Rich mozzarella sticks made with real string cheese.

Once the frozen mozzarella sticks are reheated, you can enjoy them with some tomato ketchup or marinara sauce.

There is no need to defrost frozen mozzarella sticks and they can directly be reheated in the air fryer or in the oven if you are making a larger batch.

To reheat the frozen mozzarella sticks, first preheat the air fryer for about a minute to 390°F. I use the Instant Vortex Plus air fryer and after starting, it will preheat and prompt me to add food.

Place 8-10 frozen mozzarella sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Heat it for about 4-5 minutes. After about 2-3 minutes open the air fryer basket and check the mozzarella sticks. Flip them with the help of kitchen tongs and continue air frying for the remaining time.

When they are golden brown and crispy from the outside, remove the mozzarella sticks from the air fryer basket and enjoy them hot with tomato sauce.

    Serving suggestions

Frozen mozzarella cheese sticks are best served hot once they are out of the air fryer. When you cut them the melty cheese will ooze out. They can be served with tomato ketchup, marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce. They are great for snacking or as a side dish.

    Equipment

I have made these air fryer frozen cheese sticks in the Instant Vortex Plus air fryer. They can be made in any type of air fryer, be it basket style or tray style, or any size.

Depending on your air fryer and the number of breaded mozzarella sticks and the cooking time may vary by a few minutes.

    Storage

The convenience of air frying frozen mozzarella sticks is that you can reheat only as many as you need quickly and you may not have any leftovers.

However, if you do have any leftover air fried mozzarella sticks, you can store them in the fridge in an airtight container and reheat them in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 360°F before serving them.
